The spacious two-bedroom (both queen) first floor apartment (65m2) has a calming natural feel, with robust wooden support beams, a sky-high straw ceiling, and an oversized balcony with panoramic sea views. It remains cool in the hotter months too, courtesy of an abundance of windows and the refreshing summer breeze blowing in off the ocean.

While you’ll find it difficult to pull yourself away from the balcony, where you have a wonderful vantage point of the colourful kite-surfers gliding across the lagoon, and the waves breaking on the reef, there is so much fun to be had locally.

Then, when you’ve worked up an appetite, you only need to walk down your apartment stairs to discover one of the region’s favourite restaurants – the Blue Bamboo. Ask for a table in the enchanting bamboo-skirted courtyard, order a cocktail, and try one of the eatery’s famous woodfired pizzas or an authentic Mauritian dish. 

Alternatively, room service (meals and drinks) can be arranged through the restaurant during operating hours, and if you like to cook, the apartment has a fully-equipped American kitchen.
